Born out of a collaboration with some of the most promising international design talents, Japanese brand Karimoku New Standard’s collection features innovative, joyful and functional furniture and objects. The tradition of Karimoku New Standard is born from a deep understanding of craftsmanship, bound together with innovative technologies.

The collection of Colour Wood coffee and dining tables, designed by Scholten and Baijings, features traditional Japanese techniques with the table base is the form of individual laths connected at intricate angles. The transparent wash finishes of the table base are highlighted by a textural inlay and graphic patterns printed on the tabletop representing contemporary design.

This series of tables is available in various sizes, each with its own combination of colour and pattern. Karimoku New Standard is available exclusively through Stylecraft in Australia and Singapore.
