Shortlisting Process

Our judges will comb through submissions after entries have closed, producing a shortlist of 50–60 entrants.

Entries will be evaluated on a combination of folio quality in addition to the vision, motivation and creative perspective expressed in written responses.

The shortlisted candidates will then be required to submit a short two- to three-minute video that will be used by the judging panel to help select the final 30UNDER30 cohort.

The final 30UNDER30 cohort will be invited to attend the high-performance leadership and creativity retreat. They will also receive 12–months’ mentorship, brand-building and career development opportunities, and invitations to a series of Australian Design Review events and activations in collaboration with the program’s partners.
