WORKSHOPPED has opened its new showroom in Sydney’s emerging Rosebery design precinct.
WORKSHOPPED Co-Director, Raymond Scott said, “We’ve been looking for the right location for a showroom for sometime, and we’re really excited about being in Rosebery. Increasingly we’re working with architects and specifiers who are keen to utilise Australian design.”
The new WORKSHOPPED showroom opened in August, and includes showcase relationships with key Australian designers and design companies.
Max Hunt, Director of Hunt Furniture, said “We work closely with architects and interiors industries and concentrate on high quality Australian made furniture that is competitively priced. We’ve always admired WORKSHOPPED’s commitment to supporting Australian designers and business and it was a no-brainer to form a relationship.”
TIDE Director, George Harper, said “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with WORKSHOPPED. We focus on simplicity, attention to detail, quality and individuality. WORKSHOPPED has been advocating for Australian design for over 15 years and we’re really excited about the opportunity of working together”.
WORKSHOPPED presents a stable of great Australian designers and companies – emerging, established and iconic.
“It’s really exciting to see more people recognise the breadth and value of Australian design product. One of our best selling products is the AERATRON fan. It’s a widely acclaimed and award winning product, used both in residential and commercial contexts. People are always surprised and really pleased to find out it’s locally designed,” said WORKSHOPPED Co-Director, Leanne Gibson.
