Workspace Commercial Furniture hosted a party on Thursday 9 November to celebrate the brand’s new Melbourne home. Longtime supporters of the IDEA awards program, Workspace entertained the Melbourne-based shortlisted practices from the Workplace over 1000sqm category, presenting the perfect opportunity to mingle and enjoy the newly opened hub ahead of the Gala Party taking place next week.
The sixty-odd guests were treated to acoustic music, cocktails, and delicious food and canapes. While one lucky guest took home the Tone Chair as a door prize.
Workspace Commercial Furniture commenced in Australia in 1911, that long-running history and ongoing ability to adapt to the changing needs of clients is a testament to the manufacturer’s status as a leader in the commercial furniture industry. Covering multiple sectors from commercial, educational, hospitality, health and aged care – Workspace specialises in project-based solutions.
With the manufacturing heart located in Adelaide, General Manager, Tom Clark, spoke candidly about how this new Victorian ‘home’ for Workspace is as much a home for the Melbourne design scene as well.
A very warm welcome indeed.
