Share

Schiavello has been committed to Australian design and manufacturing since its inception in 1966. To celebrate 50 years of creating, Schiavello Sydney hosted a party last week at the stylish Dolton House. With views of Hyde Park and a recent interior redesign by Koichi Takada, the venue could not have been more in keeping with the company’s celebratory mood.

Over 350 guests enjoyed champagne and a selection of culinary delights. A roaming saxophone player set the scene while guests mingled and networked. A DJ had guests partying late into the night. It was a memorable evening and celebration of Australia’s design talent.

Part of the celebration included announcing the winner of the Schiavello Future Workplace design competition. As part of the 50 years celebration, a design competition asked the design community to consider what our work lives will be like in 2030. The criteria looked at originality of design, the forces of change and how technology will impact these spaces.
