Following the announcement of the 2015 Dulux Colour Awards judging panel earlier this month, entries are now set to close for the competition on Thursday 12 February.
The awards are open to architects, designers, specifiers and students and celebrate the use of colour in a variety of design categories. Four new areas have been added to the list of categories, with the intent to open up the awards to a larger industry base.
These categories include:
Bolstering the organiser’s attempts to widen the award’s appeal this year, the entry requirements have been streamlined so as to make it as easy as possible for industry members to submit their work. Where in previous years all entrants were required to submit a showcase board for review, now only those who make it to the finalist stage need to fulfil this requirement.
Dulux Colour & Communications Manager, Andrea Lucena-Orr says that this decision will ultimately lead to a larger number of entrants this year. “We usually see an increase in entry submissions in the last week and I’m sure this year will be no different, especially considering how easy the entry process is this year.”
Award entries close Thursday 12 February 2015, with finalists announced Tuesday 24 February and winners announced Wednesday 25 March 2015.
