MADA’s Winter Short Courses

Share

The Department of Fine Art at Monash University is the place to warm up this winter. All throughout July, MADA (Monash Art Design & Architecture) is offering a range of creative short courses aimed at practicing artists, art students looking to enhance their existing skills, and members of the general public looking to shake their inner artist out of hibernation.

These two and four-day courses have been curated to unearth natural talent and encourage further development in a chosen creative field. The exciting suite of courses will include painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, jewellery design, film-making and glass-blowing for beginners to intermediates.

As a community of recognised excellence and innovation across art, design and architecture the contemporary artists at MADA are renowned both nationally and internationally for being at the forefront of their fields, with diverse experience in industry and teaching capacities.

The winter suite of Contemporary Art Short Courses will be held in small, intimate groups led by practicing artists in an interactive environment. MADA is the place to stave off the cold this winter, experience a new form of artistry and even develop the skills to walk confidently into an art school studio.
