Independent interior design practice, Geyer, has recently appointed Kathryn Taylor to the role of Melbourne studio leader. Taylor will manage each aspect of studio life, applying Geyer’s distinctive design approach to a range of projects.

Taylor joins Geyer after 18 across award-winning workplace, retail and hospitality projects. Merging her interiors practice with a preeminent NZ firm enabled Taylor to establish a successful interior architecture business, delivering high-profile projects such as SPARK Place and SPARK Central, Novotel Hotel Auckland International Airport and BNZ Retail.

“I am excited to be joining Geyer, a major player in the Asia Pacific design community,” says Taylor. “I’m looking forward to contributing hugely to the internal culture of the practice and to playing an integral part in shaping the future direction of the company.”

Taylor joins Geyer at a time of growth in the Asia Pacific region. The practice has an established portfolio of retail, commercial and hospitality work throughout Australia and Singapore and a slew of diverse new works, including Westpac’s offices at the landmark Barangaroo site, as well as a hotel planned in Bali.
