Despite the Bondi II's coastal setting, the owners didn’t want a typical beach house. Spread over three levels, it includes a craft room, music room, a library that doubles as a guest room, and a cinema room, draped in blue velvet, with blue carpet and blue walls.
"Concrete gets a hard time of it,” says architect Nick Tobias, no pun intended. “People think it’s cold and austere – but in fact, just like any other material it can be warm, sensual, inviting.”
