Capitol Grand, the tallest skyscraper outside of the city centre of Melbourne, has been approved for construction by VCAT. Designed by Bates Smart Architects, the 50-storey tower will house 450 residential apartments.

The newly formed panel presents a prestigious set of individuals armed with experience from four corners of the Australasian design community.
The entries have been shortlisted across various categories including Residential, Office, Hospitality, Retail, Education, Aged Care and Healthcare.
The new collection includes bespoke pieces with LED-powered pendants and standing lights that work on a unique ‘energy hub’ system, which offers room for more creative design.
