ADR speaks to Sarah Smith, who started her career designing prisons and has since moved on to work at Hayball in the education sector. "The building has such a fantastic patina of age. Dishevelled layers of paint peel back to expose layers of building and decoration that date back to 1878. It would be wrong to clean all that up."
