The new extension of the house negotiates between two buildings of different eras and allows the old house to open itself up to natural light and ventilation and provide a large open plan living and dining area.
The project comprises 47 one- and two-bedroom apartments split across a seven-level building on Smith Street and a five-level building on Little Smith Street, with both buildings separated by an expansive light well.
