The 2017 MPavilion is the fourth annual installment of the summer space and program, this year designed by Rem Koolhaus and David Gianotten of OMA.
The Naomi Milgrom Foundation has unveiled its 2017 design for the new MPavilion, which was designed by Netherlands-based architects Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten of Office for Metropolitan Architectures (OMA).
The forum brings together leading international architects and urban thinkers to consider the factors that determine a healthy and vibrant city. Other speakers include Mimi Zeiger, Dan Hill, Marisa Yiu and Rory Hyde.
Clearly, after all these years, the space between buildings is still the hot topic in urban planning.“The prime locations of the cities are built, so architects now deal with a lot of the residual spaces,” says Kai-Uwe Bergmann, senior partner at BIG.
