A dilapidated, Federation workers cottage with a 1990s lean-to was extensively demolished and extended into a two-level, contemporary house, growing the property from 85m2 to 185m2.

As part of Ballarat International Foto Biennale’s fringe program, architectural photographer Rhiannon Slatter will exhibit her new series BUILD – an exhibition that investigates the aesthetics of construction and explores the visual language of the construction boom.
