Tokyo-based design consultancy, nendo, has designed a set of paper blocks for the readers of Japanese lifestyle magazine Pen.
Named ‘paper-bricks’, nendo’s modular design creates pseudo-3D shapes and objects. The intelligently designed components can stack together to create one large cube or form gravity defying towers-improssible to knock over.
This toy is a translation of 3D-CAD, where virtual three -dimensional forms are viewed on a two-dimensional screen surface.
