ADR talks to Paul Kelly of Paul Kelly Design ā€“ a practice that specialises in hospitality interiors and has designed a number of recognisable establishments across the country, including Darlinghurst's Supper Club, the Betty's Burgers restaurant chain and the Lakes Bar and Bistro in NSW.
A design collaboration between Craig Tan Architects, Bergman and Co and Samantha Eades Design, Hawker Hall is a contemporary Malaysian style restaurant and beer hall for the Lucas Group, located in an inspiring old masonry warehouse on Chapel Street in Windsor.
Now in its 11th year, the awards celebrate the contemporary and innovative use of clay bricks, concrete masonry and roof tiles in Australian architecture. This year's Think Brick Award categories include commercial, residential, masonry, landscape and terracotta roof.
