This month, Design Hotels has unveiled five new flagship suites in its affiliated hotels across London, Paris, Oslo, Khao Lak in Thailand and Kappl in Austria. Designed by a range of talented design experts, each deluxe suite combines comfort with inspiring luxury. The latest additions include:

South Place Hotel, London, UK

Suite 610 at the South Place Hotel

Designed by Conran + Partners, Suite 610 is a luxurious new addition to South Place Hotel. It is spread across 120 square metres and features modern designer furniture and avant-grande art.

The bathroom includes a freestanding glass bathtub and Tom Gallant’s iconic Moths Triptych on the wall. The suite is designed in keeping with the vibrant and understated look of the hotel.

The Thief, Oslo, Norway

The new Oslo Suite at The Thief is spread across 160 square metres and features a rooftop terrace and original collages by pop artist Sir Peter Blake.

Apparatjik Suite at The Thief

While the former focuses on simplistic elegance and clean aesthetics, the Apparatjik Suite is an eclectic mix of music elements with disco balls, humorous installations, pixelated carpets, books and vinyl. The suite is designed by Karina Holmen and furnished by Apparatjik, a collective of international artists and musicians.

Casa de la Flora, Khao Lak, Thailand

The 36 cube suites of Casa de la Flora are reminiscent of floating sky lanterns formed of concrete and glass structures. Designer Vasu Virajsilp has ensured the hotel stands out among a growing list of luxury hotels and resorts in Thailand.

Despite a variable size ranging from 70 to 145 square metres, each suite overlooks the beach and features direct access to it, an overflowing pool and a private butler service .

Hôtel Sezz, Paris, France

Eiffel Suite at Hôtel Sezz

This hotel follows the belief that luxury is defined by space and service and, therefore, it is little surprise that a personal assistant escorts the guests to the new suite.

The Eiffel Suite is perched on the seventh floor of the building and offers a good view of the namesake tower. It is spread across 70 square metres and features a cosy bedroom, study space, living area and a swank bathroom with a two-person tub.

Zhero – Ischgl/Kappl, Austria

Penthouse Suite at Zhero – Ischgl/Kappl

The Penthouse Suite at Zhero – Ischgl/Kappl combines traditional elegance with contemporary luxury. The suite is designed by Jens Liebhauser and EWRE Interiors and features a terrace, an open fireplace and state-of-the-art electronic appliances.

The suite, spread across 141 square metres, uses soft indoor lighting and minimum colour to render a cosy effect amid the freezing mountains of Tyrol.
